Bengals took a step to create space for capitalization, freeing striker BJ Finney.

Cincinnati acquired Finney in the middle of the season, which sent striker Carlos Dunlap to Seattle. Finney had signed a two-year contract with the Seahawks in the off-season.

Finney appeared in just one game for the Bengals after the October 28 agreement, having only two special teams. He played in six competitions for Seattle.

Finney started his career at Steelers, signing with the club as a Kansas State non-hired free agent in 2015. He played 59 games for the club, starting on 13, 2016-2019.

Since news of his release was released, speculation has begun that Finney might return to Pittsburgh. Center Maurkice Pouncey recently decided to retire after 11 seasons with the organization.
