Bill Belichick is notoriously unpleasant with the media and the New England Patriots’ tough season does not help the tight head coach’s temper with journalists.
During Wednesday morning’s virtual press conference, Belichick became quite tested on a question about the Patriots’ quarterback situation. Cam Newton has been an overall disappointment this season and is not expected to be part of the team’s plans for the future.
With the previously anointed Tom Brady heir Jarrett Stidham waiting in the wings, the perception that Belichick may want to see what he has in his reserve fullback is without a doubt a reasonable question.
Belichick did not necessarily see it that way. Or at least the Patriots boss gets tired of answering questions repeatedly about the quarterback situation.
