Behind the scenes update of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony that will not air live

The special WWE Hall of Fame will be recorded this year.

Previously, it was believed that the WWE Hall of Fame inauguration ceremony, which will feature classes 2020 and 2021, would be broadcast live from ThunderDome during WrestleMania 37 Week, but that is not the case. Fightful Select now reports that the ceremonies are scheduled to be filmed and edited for Tuesday night’s broadcast.

The current plan is to film the inauguration ceremonies on Tuesday, March 30 and Thursday, April 1. The recorded Hall of Fame special will air on the WWE Network on Tuesday evening, April 6.

It has also been noted that the insider class will not be exactly as WWE originally planned, as some changes have been made, but there is no word yet on what those changes are.

It was previously reported that fans will attend the ceremonies virtually at ThunderDome, but it remains to be seen whether that is still the plan. WWE also had plans for as many live inducements as possible on stage, with some cast members and other guests in attendance.
