Netflix’s new thriller Behind Her Eyes is leaving viewers stunned by its very spicy sex scenes and shocking ending.
The drama, based on the best-selling book by Sarah Pinborough and adapted for the Steve Lightfoot series, follows Adele (played by Bono’s daughter Eve Hewson) as she befriends Louise (played by Simona Brown), who is having an affair with her husband David (played by Tom Bateman).
The thriller, which was released earlier this week on Netflix, left many viewers grumpy with their eccentric sex scenes, which were coordinated by Normal People’s intimacy coach, Ita O’Brien.
Meanwhile, the twist of the ending left many viewers stunned, after it was revealed that heroin addict Rob, played by Robert Aramayo, actually owned Adele’s body for years to steal his life.
During the final scenes of the show, Rob leaves Adele’s body to own Louise’s body and continue to live happily with David.

In the 6-part mini-series, single mother Louise tries to support her son by getting a part-time job at a psychiatrist’s office.
It is there that she meets David, her boss, and through their relationship, Louise gets trapped in a web of lies as it becomes increasingly clear that no one and nothing is as it seems.
The thriller is full of sexy moments that will make viewers remember recent dramas like Normal People and Bridgerton.
In fact, Ita O’Brien, Normal People’s intimacy coordinator, choreographed some of the show’s most daring scenes.

In a hot moment, Louise and David engage in a very heated prank at David’s desk at work.
Meanwhile, another sexy scene shows the couple entwined in bed, while Louise’s son sleeps next door.
Alison’s actress Eve told InTheStyle that the intimacy coordinator ita would encourage actors to imitate animals in order to achieve realistic and intimate sex scenes.
She revealed: ‘She uses animal references for the type of noise or the physical reactions she wants from you. Then she can say, “Have you ever seen a horse pigeon? Do it like this.”
Meanwhile, Bono’s daughter Eve Hewson, who plays Adele in the shocking six-part series, said that actors were often encouraged to imitate animals in intimate sex scenes.
‘Or:’ Have you ever seen slugs having sex? It is more or less like this movement. ‘
‘So it’s kind of a way of communicating with you that doesn’t seem as invasive as just saying’ stronger ‘or’ faster ‘or something that can make you feel very uncomfortable.’
However, not all are sexy and scandalous moments and the series takes an unexpected turn when David’s wife, Adele, becomes a good friend of Louise.
Through a series of flashbacks, viewers discover that Adele spent time in a rehab center with Rob, a gay heroin addict.
After meeting David, Rob tricks Adele into ‘traveling’ or changing his soul into his body.

Rob proceeds to steal Adele’s body, killing her while his soul is inside his original body, and continues to live Adele’s life.
Nowadays, Rob, like Adele, prepares Louise to learn to ‘travel’ or project astrally, out of her own body for other people.
As Louise and David fall in love more and more, he manages to convince Louise to switch bodies with Adele.
Rob, now inside Louise’s body, kills Louise’s soul, inside Adele’s body, by lethal injection, and thus steals her body forever.
The shocking turnaround at the end of the show reveals that Rob, played by Robert Aramayo, has owned Adele’s body for years, and he goes on to own Louise
Rob prepares the scene to look like a suicide, and with Adele dead and gone forever, Rob’s soul, inside Louise’s body, is free to be with David once again.
Many of those watching were completely baffled by the bizarre ending to the show, with one commenting: ‘I choked on my tea at the end.’
Another wrote: ‘This show is so fucking good, but I’m so upset at the same time, wtf?!?’
One added: ‘Finished Behind Her Eyes and … huh !? I don’t know if I’m impressed, confused, I need to watch it again and / or I got high without knowing it before watching it. ‘
Behind Her Eyes is due to be released globally on Netflix on February 17, 2021.
