Upcoming skins for Yuumi, Malzahar and Kog’Maw are sure to create a buzz on League of Legends community.
Riot has unveiled bee-themed cosmetics for today’s three champions, wrapping them in bright yellow and black. The skins are expected to arrive in the PBE soon for players to test them.
As expected, cosmetics have several themes and motifs commonly associated with flying insects. Yuumi, for example, floats on a sunflower instead of his magic book. Malzahar’s Voidling is replaced by a bee-like creature and all its abilities have honey. Likewise, Kog’Maw no longer spits disgusting goo. AD transport uses honey to slow down your opponents.
The three bee skins are not the first turns on cosmetics centered around awkward pollinators. Beemo and Beekeeper Singed pay homage to the flying insects, as well as Stinger Akali and Yellow Jacket Shen.
With the expectation that bee skins will arrive at PBE soon, they will likely arrive on active servers in two weeks.
