Bears QB’s 2021 odds look promising for those who want change

After 4 years in the Mitchell Trubisky era, it looks like the Chicago Bears will part ways with him during the off season. During an end-of-year press conference this week with Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy, they expressed how the quarterback game was a key factor in failure this season. Instead of placing the blame on coach Nagy or Nick Foles, who had 2-5 as the starter, most of the blame fell on Trubisky’s shoulders.

Later in the week, George McCaskey said the following about Trubisky:

“He is a remarkable young man. His companions love him. He works like hell. He loves football. Off the field, he stood out as a representative of the Bears. “

For starters, if the Bears can’t find another defender during the off-season, they may have some problems. I’m sure that Trubisky and his agent observed what Nagy and Pace had to say last week. None of them were happy after hearing what the team had to say.

Trubisky’s teammate Cordarrelle Patterson asked Deshaun Watson to come to Chicago via Twitter. This is something that Patterson did last season, tweeting to players asking them to go to Chicago. This time, he is a quarterback. So much for Patterson to have Trubisky back.

Over the past three seasons, Trubisky has been blamed for all the defeats. Each victory in the last three years was due to the good performance of the defense. There has been a lack of appreciation for him. I think a 25-13 record with two playoff appearances was not good enough.

In the future, it looks like Bears will make a change in the quarterback. According to FanDuel, Trubisky has a -225 chance of playing for a new team next season. The teams mentioned in the same article were Jets, Patriots and Washington.

SportsLine has different odds for the position of defender. According to them, the Bears Week 1 starter will be:

A current NFL QB via trade or a free agent -200 Nick Foles +300 2021 NFL Draft pick +750 Mitchell Trubisky +1000

It seems that fans are divided on social networks. Many of them are looking for a change, some of them want Trubisky back as a bridge quarterback and another group wants him back, but without Nagy as his coach.

The Bears are also in the Watson draw. They have the fifth best chance of hitting him (+550), with the Texans having the best, as he is already on their team.

Fans will have more ideas after the Super Bowl. Here is the official off-season schedule for the NFL.
