beabadoobee announces EP produced in 1975, shares new song “Last Day on Earth”: Listen

beabadoobee announced Our extended game, a new EP produced and co-written with Matty Healy and George Daniel from 1975. Dirty Hit’s next signee project will be released this spring. Below, check out the video clip for the single “Last Day on Earth”, directed by Arnaud Bresson from Division Paris.

“‘Last Day on Earth’ is about all the things I would have done if I had known that we would be going into a blockade and the world would change the way it did,” said beabadoobee in a press release. “It was written right after the first major block and, lyrically, it’s me reflecting on what it would be like if we all knew in advance what was going to happen. All the things I would have done if I had known it was the last day of our old normalcy. I wrote and recorded the EP on a farm with Matty and George since 1975 in the countryside. It was great to be able to create together, my first time writing and recording in that kind of environment. I wanted to experience the sounds and sounds even more and the EP, for me, gives a feeling of togetherness … as we are all together as one. “

Our extended game follows last year’s Fake flowers. The first beabadoobee tour behind this album is scheduled to start in September in the UK, after appearances at festivals in July and August. Also check the full list of dates below.
