Stacey Abrams has been dubbed a superhero policy for her efforts to vote in Georgia, but she may have a chance to debut fictional powers on the small screen.

Speaking with Yahoo Entertainment, “Batwoman” star Javicia Leslie revealed that Abrams has been very “supportive” of the series so far.

“Scream for Stacey Abrams! I think she will love this season and I hope we will make her proud,” said Leslie, the first black and bisexual actress to take on the role of Batwoman.

Leslie, 33, also admitted that he would love for Abrams to enter the DC Universe and play a fictional character.

“Let’s dress her up as a hero,” said Leslie, before speculating more about Abrams’ potential arc. “That would be fun. A supervillain: I think we should look at the comics and find one that we want to take to Gotham and go ahead and dress it up.”

Leslie, who has already told Kirsten Acuna of Insider that she is “very honored” to play Batwoman, suggested that the show could surprise fans by keeping Abram’s identity a secret and “take a while before taking off the mask and seeing that it’s she.”

A Leslie representative did not immediately return Insider’s request for comment.

Abrams, a former minority leader in the Georgia House and nominated for the 2018 Democratic governor, who was instrumental in turning Georgia into a blue state, previously revealed that she was a fan of science fiction and fantasy series.

In November, she charmed her 2.1 million Twitter followers when she revealed her love for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.

In a fun exchange on Twitter, Abrams talked about the love triangle between Buffy Ann Summers by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Spike by James Marsters and Angel by David Boreanaz.

“To be fair, Angel was the right boyfriend for Buffy to come to power. Spike was the right man when she became power, ”she wrote.

Abrams told AM to Buzzfeed’s DM that she was a fan of “Doctor Who” and watched three episodes of the series before giving her television response to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union in February 2020.

She later specified on Twitter that she thought Tom Baker, the “Fourth Doctor” in the Doctor Who franchise, was one of her favorites.

Last month, the cast of “Supernatural” met for Zoom and Abrams showed up to talk about the right to vote, E! Reported online.

Leslie took on the role of Batwoman for actress Ruby Rose, who appeared in the first season but left unexpectedly in May 2020.

Leslie told Insider that they were “really blessed” for being able to film the second season during the pandemic.

“Our studio, our network is doing an incredible job, making sure we are safe, whether through PPE or through new protocols staying in our own zones,” said Leslie. “I think they are doing the best they can to ensure that we can still continue to work and support our families.”

She also spoke about the US Capitol building disturbances, saying she felt “honored” to play Batwoman in the midst of such a tumultuous period.

“I am very, very sad and disappointed with everything that is happening now and with what is happening. A lot of what we thought to have changed proved that it hasn’t,” said Leslie. “But life imitates art and it is very important that we continue to have representation on the screen so that we can continue to build a future for people who feel empowered to fight their struggle and speak their part and still represent it.”

She added, “So, for being part of this, in any kind of role, I feel very honored.”
