Battle.net is undergoing its first renovation in years, Blizzard announced.

This new version of the famous Blizzard launcher was designed “to welcome players of all skill levels and ensure they have a good time browsing the app,” said Blizzard.

Title changes include improved navigation and layout (you can now add your games as favorites and organize them for easy access), a wider layout for news and game content, a revamped social panel, accessibility improvements and a new consolidated notification hub. The patch is first implemented in North America (my application is still in the current version). It will be released elsewhere in the coming weeks, he told Blizzard. “This is just the beginning of the new features coming to Battle.net; we will continue to iterate, improve and add to the application over time.”

Battle.net was launched in December 1996 just days before the original Diablo. The launcher was officially renamed to Blizzard App in 2017, but Blizzard later reversed the decision. Currently, Battle.net is home to Activision’s PC games and Blizzard games as well. In the “partner games” section, you’ll find a number of Call of Duty titles, including Warzone.
