BARS of the Facebook Rap Freestyle platform

Facebook launched a brand new platform called BARS, where users can record short clips of themselves rapping and freestyle over beats.

Like TikTok, each video will be limited to 60 seconds. After users finish recording their videos in the app, they can share them on various social media. Users who find free styles they like can respond with fire emojis.

The app is still in its early testing period and does not appear to be fully intuitive, according to some sources. There is no pause button and it is not easy to find out how to follow other users. But those problems are likely to be resolved once Facebook decides to officially launch the app. In addition, the app will come with automatic adjustment features and a rhyming dictionary, along with freestyle games where users will be asked to work on automatically generated words in their free styles.

In January, Instagram recognized TikTok’s innovation, while mentioning that it was not yet satisfied with its own Reels platform.
