Baptist Health South Florida opens limited number of vaccine appointments – NBC 6 South Florida

Shortly after launching its programming link on Friday morning, Baptist Health South Florida filled more than 13,000 vaccination vacancies in approximately two hours.

“All of our COVID-19 vaccination schedules have been completed, and we are not accepting any new commitments at this time,” Baptist Health said in a statement. “Additional vaccination locations will be made available in our service area soon, and more appointment times will be available as we receive additional vaccines.

Baptist Health South Florida announced that it will launch an online platform on Friday for eligible members of the community to schedule an appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

From Friday, January 8, people aged 65 or over or at high risk of contracting serious illnesses with the virus will be able to make appointments at baptisthealth.net for vacancies from Monday, January 11.

Baptist Health will offer 12,000 available times to start and hopes to add availability and locations.
