Banda Mariachi plays at Ted Cruz’s house amid Mexican reaction

Oh gosh!

A mariachi band appeared on Sunday outside Senator Ted Cruz’s house to try to drive him a little crazy after his widely condemned tour of Cancún, Mexico.

The five musicians – wearing sombreros and charro outfits – filled the air with traditional music, especially the staccato sounds of very loud trumpets, according to a video on Twitter shown on the WTRF.

Adam Jama, from Carrollton, Texas, created a GoFundMe page for the band to shake up politics at war – and have donations sent to Texas Children’s Hospital.

“Senator Cruz, being an incredible father, left his family in Cancún in the midst of a great crisis and returned to Texas to continue serving his constituents. We want to thank Senator Cruz for his leadership and pay for an amazing Mariachi band to perform for him. No one should go to Cancún without listening to Mariachi, ”says the seemingly ironic page, which raised $ 300 from its $ 1,000 target.

A woman donated $ 25 “in memory of Ted Cruz”.

The Twitter post generated mixed reactions, with several people expressing doubts about protesting outside their Houston home with the improvised presentation.

“To be honest, I’m not sure how I feel about this. Without a doubt @SenTedCruz
deserves this, ” a user wrote. “However, his children are his pawns and the ones he plays under the bus. However, they are not to blame and should not be subjected to harassment, even if it is funny. “

Another wrote: “It is not a good idea if his children are at home, they cannot prevent their father from being Ted Cruz.”

A third mentioned Cruz’s poor puppy, who he left alone at home while heading for the warm refuge during the winter storm that ravaged his state.

“Snowflake loves mariachi music,” the user said.

On Sunday, Cruz was in full damage control mode when posting photos of himself on Twitter delivering water and meeting Texans amid the controversy.

Cruz flew back to Houston on Thursday, the day after he and his family were photographed boarding a jet to Cancun and text messages from his wife, Heidi, revealed that they told friends they were leaving the “FROSTY” climate and going to the pretentious Ritz- Resort Carlton.

At first, he said he was just accompanying his daughters and friends on the flight and planned to return immediately, but later admitted that he planned to stay there with his family until Saturday.
