Bad Bunny takes to the plane at WWE Royal Rumble defeating new rivals The Miz and John Morrison

Reggaeton artist Bad Bunny was scheduled to perform during WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view extravaganza, but he ended up meeting some new rivals as well.

The 26-year-old rapper (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) sang his new song Booker T, alongside the WWE legend of the same name at Sunday night’s event at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Sunday night.

The rapper ended up getting involved with two renowned wrestling professionals, The Miz and John Morrison, who reached the point where Bad Bunny executed an impressive splash of frog from the upper rope to take down his new rivals.

Before the show even started, The Miz and John Morrison approached Bad Bunny behind the scenes to introduce them to a musical collaboration.

The Puerto Rican declined the offer, which angered the tag team to the point that they ruined Bad Bunny’s DJ setup before the start of the Rumble.

While Bunny’s performance went smoothly, Miz and Morrison’s actions still clearly irritated the rapper, to the point where he revealed himself during the Royal Rumble fight.

Both Miz and Morrison were still alive in the Rumble fight – a final standing fight in which the fighters are eliminated by being thrown out of the ring, when Bunny came down to express his displeasure with M&M.

While WWE referees stopped the Latin artist from the trap before the ring, his arrival was the perfect distraction for another fighter, Damian Priest, to attack.

With Miz and Morrison’s back, Priest sent the two over the rope and out of the ring, eliminating them from the Royal Rumble, much to the delight of the crowd.

As M&M was slow to get up from elimination, Priest encouraged Bunny to climb the tightrope, which he did, much to the delight of the crowd.

The rapper climbed the top rope and gave an impressive splash of frog, knocking Miz and Morrison down in one jump.

– I’ve heard of flying squirrels, but flying rabbit? announcer Michael Cole exclaimed during the PPV broadcast.

The song Booker T by Bad Bunny was featured on his new album El Último Tour Del Mundo, released in late November.

Booker T himself revealed in his podcast in the Hall of Fame in December that Bad Bunny, ‘admired what I had done for business, for sport in general’.

‘From somewhere on the other side of the water, he is watching Booker T and is digging at what I am doing, it lets me know that I did something right with regards to going there from a performance perspective … I always wondered when someone would come out with a song about Booker T, because I knew I was tough, but that’s kind of a seal of approval, ”he added.
