Bad Bunny summons the former WWE Booker T fighter and current commentator for the new video for “Booker T”, a track from the recent LP by the reggaeton star of Puerto Rico The Last Tour del Mundo.
The look of the track – which features a sample of “Can you dig it sucka?” From Booker T entry song for wrestling events – meets Bad Bunny and the former fighter world champion crouching in a truck depot, driving to unknown places.
“[He] it was someone who saw my emergence as a child, admired what I had done for business, for sport in general, ”Booker T said earlier about the collaboration on his Hall of Fame podcast.
“From somewhere on the other side of the water, he is watching Booker T and he is digging at what I am doing, it lets me know that I did something right with regards to going there from a performance perspective … I always wondered when someone would come out with a song about Booker T, because I knew I was tough, but that’s kind of a seal of approval. ”
Bad Bunny The Last Tour del Mundo – released in November, his third LP of 2020 – foresees the final tour at the end of the world. Speaking for Rolling Stone to cap off a monumental 2020, the rapper discussed his plans to tour as soon as the pandemic subsides.
“The best in the world, the best in history – I swear that’s how I feel and what I want,” he said. “Just before the pandemic and the blockade, we were analyzing all the details and experiences for the next tour and it was amazing to see everything come together. Now, with everything that happened, the feeling is different. When we finally get on stage, it will be a whole new energy.
