Bachelorette Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark visit their family

Relationship achievement: unlocked.

Newly engaged bachelorette Tayshia Adams and her chosen suitor, Zac Clark, crossed a very specific relationship on Wednesday when they visited the Adams family home in California and, crucially, Clark helped his father move a sofa.

(They say that meeting in-laws for the first time is very important, but in reality, it all comes down to the first time you have to put a sofa in the door together.)

In the photos, Adams and Clark wave to the photographers, exchange kisses and become friends with Adams’ father, Desmond – all in one day at work.

The historic moment came a day after the end of the show’s dark 16th season. This year, Adams was replaced by Clare Crawley, who left the show after failing to hide the fact that she quickly fell in love with former NFL player Dale Moss and accepted an initial proposal from him. (Crawley and Moss gave their blessing to Adams and Clark on Wednesday.)

Clark, 36, and Adams, 30, explained on Wednesday that they are “just going to date” in the conceivable future, with no wedding plans yet. Adams, a California native, also said he plans to be “bi-coastal” going forward; Clark, a New Jersey native, works in New York and the couple announced their move to the Big Apple by driving a cardboard taxi towards the end of the ending.

“I will have my home [in California], and I’m looking forward to spending some time in New York with him, ”Adams told Good Morning America on Wednesday.

Coincidentally, they will share the city with Crawley and Moss. Moss was spotted looking for a home in Manhattan in November, and the couple were also photographed carrying out sacred New York traditions, such as watching Christmas trees and shopping at Tiffany’s.
