Yea, Steph Curry he spent Valentine’s Day taking his wife to the doctor on Sunday night after she opened her hand in an accident with a bottle of champagne !!!
Ayesha says she wasn’t doing anything crazy with the champagne bottle – something went wrong, resulting in an injury that needed 4 stitches to close!
“It’s important to know that I wasn’t opening a bottle of champagne when it happened to me,” says Ayesha … “I was opening it the normal way.”
For your information, “saber” is when you take a blade (like a sword or something) and pass it along the champagne bottle, usually resulting in a cold explosion that tears off the neck of the glass. It looks cool, but it can be dangerous if done incorrectly.
The good news … Curry says she hit the good people at Kaiser Permanente, who took care of her wound quickly so she could resume her Valentine’s Day plans, which included mostly watching movies with her NBA star husband.
Now, Steph can focus on getting ready to hit the court on Monday night, where his Golden State Warriors will face the Cleveland Cavs.
