Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun we had dinner together in west hollywood, and then the whole scene looked a lot like a night out in 2019 … in addition to face masks.
The musicians were leaving the BOA Steakhouse on Thursday night when they were surrounded by photographers and fans, as in the old days. Avril even signed autographs and took selfies.
Again, everyone was wearing facial coverings – but it was LA’s first strong look reopening for outdoor dining after months of strict COVID shutdowns.
The fact that Mod and Avril left together is also interesting because they worked together on their new track, “Flames” – which he said came out “like magic” – and rumors are starting to circulate that there may be some magic between them.

They both seem to have been single for a while – Mod had a bitter separation with Bella Thorne in 2019, and Avril divorced her rock star husband, Chad Kroegerin 2015.
