Austin Rivers is gaining some adoration from the Knicks fans, although that doesn’t extend to the front of the house.
The guard posted a hilarious video on his Instagram explaining to his girlfriend Audreyana Michelle that he was going to work out at the Knicks facility on Tuesday on the team’s day off after returning from a week-long trip.
“She is angry that I want to play basketball on my day off … and we (the team) have just returned from a long trip. lol and yes, this is real, ”said Rivers in his first caption in Instagram history.
“Can I have a day just for me?” Michelle is heard asking in the background. “Do you want to spend the shit day with me?”

Rivers, who signed a three-year, $ 10 million contract this season, had an impressive start with the Knicks. After losing the training ground and the first four games with a groin injury, Rivers averaged 10 points per game in three clashes, despite the lack of practice time with Tom Thibodeau.
Rivers was on the ground in the final minutes of consecutive wins over the Pacers and Hawks, scoring 3 points to help seal the two wins.
Rivers ended the video with a scene from the Knicks’ training center with the caption: “I pulled it up .. She’s hot now” with a laughing emoji.
Rivers and Michelle have been dating since the beginning of 2020 and are expecting a child together.
