Some Atlus developers discussed their plans for 2021 in a large group interview at Famitsu.

Katsura Hashino (better known as the director of Persona 5) and currently working on the mysterious Re Fantasy Project, explained that she would like to reveal the game she is working on as soon as possible, encouraging fans to look forward to the fantasy JRPG by the team that even now has made games in modern environments. Remember that he did not promise that the said revelation would come in 2021

Persona 5 Royal director Kazuhisa Wada mentioned that a project is progressing quietly behind the scenes. Atlus is also thinking of ways to share the excitement during the Persona series’ 25th anniversary in 2021, so fans should look forward to it.

Shinjiro Takada, producer of Shin Megami Tensei V, explained that the game is being developed diligently with the aim of making it a better game. Although we still have to wait a while (the game has a launch window for 2021 at the moment), he expects fans to be looking forward to it.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Atlus fans. Meanwhile, those living in the west will finally be able to play Persona 5 Strikers on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in February.
