Dear Villagers publishing chief, Guillamet Jamet, added: “It was a pleasure to see this world come together. And it’s an honor to have so many legends on the team helping – like a childhood dream coming true. Astria Ascending it is more than a tribute to the classics. It is the perfect next step in our ambitious JRPG publishing line. “

An epic adventure with the charm and pedigree of a classic JRPG, Astria Ascending tells an expansive story of destiny, sacrifice and new beginnings.

The game was developed in partnership with the publisher Dear Villagers and features contributions from world-class JRPG developers, with a score by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII, Vagrant Story), narrative by Kazushige Nojima (Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy VII Remake) and art by CyDesignation (Akihiko Yoshida and Hideo Minaba).

In a world where chaos is approaching, players take control of the demigods – a heterogeneous crew of eight heroes in charge of the world’s fate. Along with well-adjusted turn-based combat, players can experience a variety of side missions and mini-games, including an original fantasy-themed token game.
