Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’s new transmog system has problems

Ubisoft has finally given players the ability to turn their armor into Assassin’s Creed: Valhallathe latest patch from. Unfortunately, this ability comes at a price in the game that many players think is a little too high. Worse, this is not the only problem that players have encountered with the system or the new game patch.

ValhallaThe transmog feature allows players to change the appearance of a piece of armor without changing their stats, but this can only be done at Gunnar’s blacksmith and costs 50 silver. Although this price is not that high in the grand scheme of things, it can increase quickly if you change the look of your equipment frequently. And, as many Reddit players have pointed out, it is a frustrating cost to pay for a purely cosmetic feature.

At least one player mentioned that using the transmog system may have removed runes from their weapons – although they were unable to confirm whether or not the transmog was the cause of the problem.

On Tuesday, Ubisoft also announced that it was giving the Godly Reward package as a thank you gift from the community. The package contains Altaïr clothing from the first Assassin’s Creed game, the Yule Festival rewards and 300 opals – one of Valhallagame coins.

Except that the Godly Reward package seems to have encountered some problems as well. Players received an error message when they tried to redeem the package, which Ubisoft said it is aware and trying to resolve. However, at least one of the problems prevented players from unlocking the package if they did not have Helix credits. Ubisoft fixed this specific problem.

As soon as the package is finally unlocked, players discover that the new transmog system doesn’t work with Altaïr’s outfit either. Players can only use the armor as a normal set, but they cannot use it to change the appearance of their other armor. Without the same upgrade options as the game’s standard armor, the outfit is less useful to wear regularly.

Fortunately, the game’s community manager said he is passing this feedback on to the development team.
