Assassin’s Creed Valhalla missions that most players don’t know exist are finally being fixed

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Avenge Player Quests

Did you know that there is a specific type of dynamic mission in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that the vast majority of players are unlikely to ever see? They are called ‘Revenge’ missions and are triggered when Eivor finds the body of a Viking in the open world.

These bodies represent other Valhalla players who were killed in their own game by a nearby enemy. After inspecting the corpse, you have the task of hunting down that enemy and, once he is dead, you receive some minor rewards like XP and silver. Those of you who played Assassin’s Creed Origins should remember that the title featured these same online missions.

But again, the problem here is that these revenge missions are extremely rare in Valhalla, to the point where players wonder if they’ve been completely bugged since launch. And apparently, they are. The development team has again updated its official list of known issues with the game, and “revenge missions cannot be found” is now ‘under investigation’.

With any luck, the revenge missions will finally work as planned in the near future, adding a little more spice to Eivor’s adventure. Do we dare to ask if you have already crossed the body of another player? Quench your thirst for revenge in the comments section below.
