Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion takes Eivor to Ireland

Assassin’s Creed Valhallathe first expansion of, Wrath of the Druids, will be released on April 29, Ubisoft Montreal announced on Thursday. Players will sail their Viking ships to Ireland to “unravel the mysteries of an ancient and mysterious Druidic cult,” Ubisoft Montreal said in a press release.

Inspired by myths and Gaelic folklore, Wrath of the Druids there are players tracking cult members and “gaining influence with Gaelic kings”. It is the first major expansion of the Assassin’s Creed game that was released in 2020. It will cost $ 24.99 as a standalone item or available as part of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla$ 39.99 season pass, which will also provide other content.

Before the update, however, a new festival – the Ostara Festival – is taking place until April 7 at the Viking base, Ravensthorpe. In the press release, Ubisoft described it as an “Easter themed” festival with spring decorations, new skills and three new character missions. The characters’ missions are an Easter egg hunt, “the celebration of the Queen of May” and a mission in which Eivor must protect the village from the “spirits of the night”.

Ubisoft has also added players’ ability to transmog their armor – but players are not very happy with the price of cosmetic adjustments.

In another part of the patch, Ubisoft also ensured that there were more cats across England. Players may not be happy with the way the transmog works, but more cats is something that everyone can support.
