Ashley Tisdale started about the harsh criticism she received after having a nose job in the mid 2000s.

The 35-year-old former “High School Musical” star wrote an essay for her website Frenshe and reflected on the “shame” she felt for doing the procedure that she insists is for medical reasons.

In 2007, Tisdale revealed that he was unable to breathe properly and, after consulting a doctor, found that his “septum was 80 percent deviated and that I had two small nose fractures”.

At the doctor’s recommendation, she underwent a rhinoplasty, but it was not about “changing my appearance”.

Tisdale called the reaction to the fans’ decision “traumatic”.

“Plastic surgery was not culturally accepted as it is now,” she wrote. “When I finished, I was examined, judged and made to feel ashamed of my decision. I made a decision that was nobody’s business (and it’s STILL nobody’s business) and because of that decision, I constantly felt bad about it. . “

The singer confessed that she wanted to be honest about her surgery, but felt she couldn’t at the time.
