Ashley Tisdale ‘never felt pain’ like plantar fasciitis in pregnancy

Ashley Tisdale is the latest celebrity to open up about the most painful aspects of pregnancy, recently sharing that her pregnancy-induced plantar fasciitis has caused a level of pain she has never experienced before.

“The worst part so far during this pregnancy is my plantar fasciitis,” the “High School Musical” star, 35, wrote on her Instagram Story Friday. “It literally hurts just to stand up. I have never felt such pain and I hope that when the baby is here, it will stop. “

She added: “I know there could be worse, but for someone who is constantly on their feet, it can be quite unbearable.”

Plantar fasciitis is a condition that causes inflammation of the tissue that crosses the sole of the foot and connects the heel bone to the toes. According to the Mayo Clinic, it can cause a strong stinging sensation when walking, especially after waking up or after standing or sitting for a long time.

After bringing fans up to date on the progress of her unborn child’s nursery, Tisdale began responding to followers who showed concern for her health.

“It’s awful,” she started the clip. “It’s very painful – it just hurts to walk, anywhere, every day. It’s like your arches start to collapse because of how much weight is on my body. “

She continued, “I think she is seven pounds now and I have never carried this before and I am very short, I am 1.75m”, so yes, it has definitely been painful. I am really hoping that it will disappear eventually or when she is out of my mind. ”

“If you have any suggestions, please send a DM, tell me what to do,” she added.

Tisdale confirmed that she was expecting her first child with her husband Christopher French last September.
