You would think that after centuries of mothers breastfeeding their children, breastfeeding would be a widely accepted part of motherhood – but, of course, it doesn’t seem to be the case.
Fortunately, that hasn’t stopped 33-year-old model Ashley Graham.
Since receiving her first child, Issac Ervin, a year ago, Graham has made it a point to share some of his most precious and intimate moments on social media, including videos of her breastfeeding him.
“Perfect morning with my sweet lil man. The snow in NYC is wild today, but Isaac will still play in his snow suit for a quick sleigh trick! ”, She wrote in her last clip.
While many mothers applauded and encouraged her efforts to normalize something so obviously natural, others questioned her, criticizing her for sharing too much on social media, where she has more than 12 million followers.
Your post has been met with a lot of support from fans who agree that breastfeeding should not be considered obscene. But, unfortunately, the positive comments were not enough to drown out the negative ones.
“I don’t need to see this. Good for you, but does anyone keep something so precious and innocent private? It’s between you and you, baby. Keep it up, ”commented one person.

“Private moments … I can’t understand why you publish them,” wrote another. “Very cute, but honestly, I don’t want to see breasts, we think you’re feeding your baby very cute, but please cover yourself.”
Other fans have criticized the volume of similar breastfeeding videos she has posted, asking her to decrease. Some simply thought it was bizarre to share something so intimate with so many people.

“Is that all you know how to post? As if seriously breastfeeding was everything you posted ”, wrote one of her followers. “The fact that you feel the need to post this is completely unsettling. Why can’t a special moment with your child be just between you and your husband? Why do you feel the need to show millions of people? ”Wrote another.
Graham has not yet responded to the reaction – but as someone who has been criticized for everything from underarm hair to her body size, it’s probably safe to assume that she has no plans to allow haters to affect her.
