For three months, Chinese billionaire Jack Ma has remained out of the public eye while China is cracking down on its business.
His only public appearance was a 50-second video in late January, during which he made brief comments to rural teachers across China.
But, according to a report by Bloomberg, the founder of Alibaba and Ant Group has been seen playing golf at the Sun Valley Golf Resort in Hainan, China, in recent weeks. The luxury resort includes a 27-hole golf course, a club and a restaurant.
These clubs are not hard to find in Hainan, the island province in southern China that is known as “China’s Hawaii” due to its tropical climate, luxurious beach resorts and golf courses.
