Arsenal captain Aubameyang fell for Tottenham due to the delay

What happened?

The Athletic understands that Aubameyang performed late for the North London derby in the Emirates.

This is not the first time that the Arsenal captain has denounced late, with Arteta deciding to abandon him.

What did Arteta say?

Before the match, Arteta confirmed that Aubameyang had fallen on the bench as a punishment, but did not say why he disciplined the club captain.

“He was going to start the game, but we had a disciplinary problem,” Arteta told Sky Sports.

“We drew the line and moved on. We keep it inside. “

When pressed to find out whether the disciplinary breach had been a coup, Arteta replied: “We have other players who are willing”.

And Tottenham?

Unlike Arteta, Tottenham coach José Mourinho was able to name his star striker in his starting eleven. Harry Kane was hit in the knee after scoring twice in the Europa League victory over Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday night, but appears to have recovered from the injury.

Mourinho has made a total of six changes since the 2-0 midweek victory, with Matt Doherty, Toby Alderweireld, Sergio Reguilon, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Lucas Moura and Gareth Bale all brought in.

What are the teams?

Arsenal: Leno, Cedric, Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney, Thomas, Smith-Rowe, Saka, Odegaard, Xhaka, Lacazette.

Subs: Bellerin, Ceballos, Willian, Aubameyang, Holding, Pepe, Chambers, Elneny, Ryan.

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris, Doherty, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Reguilon, Ndombele, Hojbjerg, Bale, Lucas Moura, Filho, Kane.
