“Chris is a fantastic guy and very easy to get along with,” said Schwarzenegger. ‘He’s been a wonderful husband and a great son-in-law.’

Schwarzenegger also spoke about becoming a grandfather for the first time earlier this year, when Pratt and his daughter Katherine, 31, welcomed their daughter Lyla in August.

“They always say it is the most fun thing to be a grandfather, because you have no responsibility,” he said. ‘As soon as my daughter gave birth to this beautiful girl, I received hundreds of gifts and did nothing!

“That’s why it’s great to be a grandfather, because you get all the credit and so many gifts and good luck, but without responsibility.”

The Hollywood veteran said he was surprised that Katherine married an actor after growing up in show business.

‘I said to myself,’ She’s probably going to be sick and tired of being dragged to the sets, ‘he said. ‘We were in the middle of filming Terminator 2, and she saw me without half my face and all that kind of weird makeup. She started screaming and crying on the set, because she didn’t understand why Daddy was like that! ‘

The bodybuilding icon – who is also the father of Christina, 29, Patrick, 27, and Christopher and Joseph Baena, both of 23 – had kind words talking about Pratt in August while talking to Fox 11.

‘He’s very, very disciplined with his work, he’s wonderful for Katherine, and for [ex-wife Maria Shriver], and for me, and we have a great relationship with him, he’s a really great guy, ‘he said.
