Miss Cayman’s video of Armie Hammer on her alleged secret Instagram caused a stir among local authorities.
Page Six confirmed that Grand Cayman police spoke to Hammer, 34, last Friday about the inappropriate filming of a woman on her private account.
“On January 15, 2021, RCIPS received a report of misuse of ICT in relation to a suggestive video that was posted on social media,” the police told Page Six in a statement. “The police investigated the matter and spoke to the suspect, who was alerted about his conduct, according to the whistleblower’s wishes.”
The case against Hammer, who was not taken to police custody or arrested, is closed.
A Hammer representative did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Miss Cayman’s official organization later distanced itself from the woman in lingerie, who was identified as “Mrs. Cayman “in Hammer’s secret account, saying he was” disturbed “by the video.
