Registration for state-run vaccination sites in Maricopa, Pima and Yuma counties will be open at 8 am on Wednesday.

“Our goal has been and continues to be to get the vaccine to the community as quickly, widely and equitably as possible,” said Governor Ducey. “Given a complete review of vaccination data, early vaccine supply and current demand among prioritized groups, now is the time to take this next critical step.”

Vaccination sites that administer the Pfizer vaccine, including those administered by the state, will be able to vaccinate Arizonans aged 16 and over.

Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, supplied to counties, are approved for ages 18 and older.

On Monday, March 22, nearly three million doses were administered in Arizona. More than one million Arizonans have been fully vaccinated.
