Ariel Pink participated in Tucker Carlson’s program: “people are so bad”

Having been released by his Mexican Summer label after attending the Trump rally last week that turned into a Capitol riot, Ariel Pink defended himself in a rather surreal interview for Fox News’ truly awful Tucker Carlson, saying that the situation leaves him “helpless on the street”.

Ariel, who was in Washington with John Maus and filmmaker Alex Lee Moyer, said that they left the Capitol before the insurrection incited by Trump happened – “I went to the White House to see our president, I went to the hotel, I took a nap, end of history “- but after initially hearing Mexican Summer that he would not be dropped, the day after he fell and that things have gotten worse since then. “My family is receiving death threats. They don’t even know I’m here … the hatred has been overwhelming … people are so mean.”

Tucker Carlson then asked “Have you lived in the country all your life – do you recognize him?” “Not at all,” Ariel replied, “I’m terrified. That’s what I voted against. I didn’t vote for Trump as much as against the cancellation of the culture.”

Pink told Carlson that he is not concerned about being destroyed as a person for this. “I’ve been canceled before, I’ve been canceled many times, I know how it all works, it doesn’t really affect my ego, which doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt my feelings.” He added: “I know I didn’t do anything wrong, so there is no reason for me to feel remorse for it.”

When asked why she participated in FOX News, Pink said “I have no other recourse. Will I be able to publish ‘my statement’ in the magazines? At the moment, the narrative is being released and not many people are going to leave a counter-narrative to enter the breast … I don’t know what I’m going to do. “

Unlike many who attended last week’s rally, Ariel told Tucker that he thinks Trump has lost the election fairly. “I’m not contesting anything. Biden is perfectly fine with me as president”, but he thinks Biden’s supporters are “hurt winners” and that “people also want to take me down”.

“When reasonable people like you are destroyed, we should all notice,” said Carlson, ending the interview. You can watch the full interview below.

Meanwhile, on the same day that Ariel PInk was in DC, he was accused of physical and sexual abuse by ex-girlfriend and bandmate Charlotte Ercoli Coe in a lawsuit in Los Angeles.
