The musician’s last feat? Winning his twentieth Guinness World Records title.
Guinness World Records announced last week that the newest Grande award is “most songs to debut first on the Billboard Hot 100”, with five of their songs topping the charts.
“What makes his recent record so extraordinary is that Grande is currently the only artist to have done this in history,” wrote Guinness World Records on its website on February 2. “Her triumphs come from the back of the impressive advances she made in the entertainment business, which started in her teens.”
Some of the other notable titles from Guinness World Records for Grande include:
- Most broadcasted track on Spotify in a week (female)
- Most followers on Spotify (women)
- First solo act to occupy the top three positions simultaneously on the US singles chart
- More simultaneous entries in the Top 40 on the US singles chart by a female artist
- Most streamed track on Spotify in a week
- Most YouTube musician subscribers (female)
- Most broadcast pop album in a week (USA)
- Most MTV VMA nominations for Best Collaboration.
- Most broadcast track in a week by a female artist on the Billboard charts
- Most monthly listeners on Spotify for women
Grande’s sixth and most recent album, “Positions”, was released on October 30, 2020. Her single “Positions” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 7, 2020.
