Are you thinking of changing? [Poll]- 9to5Mac

Just as people argue over iOS rather than Android, the debate between Apple Music and Spotify has also grown since 2015. As the war of streaming music services begins to bring podcasts and HiFi to the battlefield, do you plan to continue with your current streaming service, or are you planning on moving?

I’ve been using Apple Music since it was released. Even when Apple erased my entire library a few times, I didn’t care. So, when some songs appeared duplicated, I didn’t care either. Now, Apple Music is struggling to show the correct album cover to some artists and faces some reliability issues. Should I care now?

On the other hand, we have been regularly reporting on all the changes that Spotify is making on its platform. He added podcasts and the first data shows that it was a success. It also plans to launch a HiFi-level subscription this year and recently renewed all of its applications.

I used to complain because I didn’t get the Spotify user interface, but when I started comparing it to Apple Music, now I see that they are very similar. Compare for yourself:

If you compare the prices, they will be exactly the same: $ 9.99 / month for an individual level, $ 14.99 / month for a family subscription and $ 4.99 / month for a student app. The difference here is that Apple now offers the Apple One, so it’s easier to stick with Apple Music because you can also receive iCloud, Apple Arcade and Apple TV + together.

The Apple One individual plan costs $ 14.95 a month, while the Family plan is $ 19.95 a month: a very good deal. On the other hand, Spotify has a free version based on ads and a Premium Duo, for two people who live together for $ 12.99 / month.

With any of the services, you can get a good deal, depending on your need. But if you’re an Apple type, you may be wondering if Spotify can integrate with all your devices. Spotify has an Apple Watch app, a macOS app and a browser app, but the company doesn’t yet support HomePod integration.

For example: if you like to share and know what your friends are listening to, you can do it in real time with Spotify. If you like to combine podcasts and music in the same place, Spotify also supports it. If you want a good holiday recap, Spotify can also do better than Apple Music.

As an Apple One subscriber and with all Apple devices integrated with Apple Music, I am considering switching to Spotify and would like to ask you: Are you satisfied with your current music streaming service? Are you planning to change? Vote in the poll and tell me in the comments section below.
