For victory and glory
In just over a week, Nintendo Switch owners will be able to return to the Excillant realm, while a quartet of brave heroes embarks on an epic journey to restore a ruined city to its former glory, enormously outnumbered by the armies of enemies who would see them fail. Bravely Default II is just eight days away from its long-awaited Nintendo Switch release.
The publishers Square Enix and Nintendo released a final trailer to awaken the adventurous spirit in fans of the series, old and new. The almost four-minute preview gets us familiar with the heroes Seth, Adelle, Gloria and Elvis, while giving us a quick tour of the Excillant kingdom and its five distinct regions. We will also see some of the adversaries that our party will face, which must be defeated if Princess Gloria’s kingdom wants to see the light again.
It will not be an easy mission, as many who played the recent demo will tell you. But with clever tactics, an eye for exploration and perfect mastery of the “Valiant” and “Standard” battle system, players will help our heroes overcome insurmountable difficulties and hopefully save the day. I meant good ever triumphs over evil in these ventures … right?
