The new fighter from Arc System Works and NeoPle, DNF Duel, is based on the popular IP Dungeon Fighter Online.
Arc System Works and NeoPle publisher announced a new fighting game Dungeon & Fighters (DNF) Duel, which is based on the popular online action RPG Dungeon Fighter Online. Next to the trailer, there are also some comments from director Kodani about the next title:

Considering how popular Dungeon Fighter Online is, especially in Asia, it makes sense for the IP to branch out into other genres. Neither a release date nor platforms have been revealed so far, but I’m sure information will come in the future.
This is not Arc System Works’ first rodeo with a third party IP, as they also worked on Granblue Fantasy Versus. XSEED Games also revealed its partnership with Arc System Works for “ARCREVO America Online 2020”, an online tournament that featured Granblue Fantasy: Versus and BlazBlue: Cross Battle. Started in October 2020, the top two players in Granblue Fantasy: Versus and BlazBlue: Cross Battle from each region were invited to participate in a special exhibition match America x Japan planned for spring 2021.

More recently, during the live broadcast of the Japan Fighting Game Publisher round table, fighters Leo Whitefang and Nagoriyuki were announced for the title. Two other trailers revealed Ramlethal Valentine, as well as Millia Rage and Zato = 1. So far we know that the characters previously announced are the protagonist Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, Axl Low and May, and Chipp Zanuff and Potemkin.
