Giovanni and the GO Rocket team are back and have achieved more Shadow Pokémon – including Shadow Legendary Pokémon.

The new GO Rocket Special Research team ‘The higher they fly …’ will be available in Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 12 noon, local time. Play through the GO team’s new special rocket research team to win a Super Rocket Radar and defeat Giovanni!
GO Rocket Timed Research Team in April
From Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 12 noon, Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 11:59 am, local time, be sure to complete the Timed Search to obtain a Super Rocket Radar, which you can use to fight Giovanni!
April discovery meeting in research
From Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 1:00 pm, to Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 1:00 pm PDT, you will meet Frillish at Research Revolution meetings.
Featured Pokémon hours of April
Pokémon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday at 6 pm local time. Each featured hour features a different Pokémon and a special bonus.

The following legendary Pokémon will appear in five-star raids during the month of April:
April Mega Raids
- Mega Houndoom, Mega Abomasnow and Mega Manectric will be presented in Mega Raids until Sunday, April 4, 2021, at 10:00 local time.
- ONE Mega Evolution Evolved Pokémon will be appearing in Mega Raids from Sunday, April 4, 2021, at 10am local. It will continue to appear in Mega Raids for the rest of the month. Stay tuned for more details!
- Mega Gengar and Mega Manectric will appear on Mega Raids from Monday, April 5, 2021, at 10:00 am until Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 10:00 am
- Mega Venusaur and Mega Abomasnow will appear on Mega Raids from Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 10:00 local time.
April Community Day
Join us on Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 11 am to 5 pm local time, for a Community Day event with Snivy, the Pokémon collects grass.
Evolve Servine (the Snivy Evolution) during the event or up to two hours later to obtain a Serperior who knows Frenzy Plant.

- Sustainability Week – From Tuesday, April 20, 2021 to Sunday, April 25, 2021, you can expect an event with a sustainability theme! Pokémon like Grimer, Trubbish and others will appear more often in nature, and it’s up to all of us to capture them!
- Friendship Day – On Saturday, April 24, 2021, celebrate friendship with an unprecedented event!
