Apple TV + extends free one-year trial offer

Good news for everyone who signed up for the free Apple TV + year that came with the purchase of new Apple hardware – Apple is adding more time to its free trial.

Mac 9to5 first reported on the extension, sharing that any Apple TV + subscription set to expire between now and June will now be extended to July 2021.

Apple already extended the free trial period once, in October. At that time, the test was extended until February 2021. At the time, Apple announced that it would reimburse customers who were already paying for the service, in the form of credits.

If you are using the free trial version of Apple TV +, you should be notified of the update via email in the coming weeks. The Mac 9to5 confirms that Apple will once again offer credit refunds to paying subscribers. Apple TV + subscribers who pay for a monthly plan will receive a $ 4.99 in-store credit for the trial extension period from February to June. Credit refunds will also be offered to Apple One package subscribers, covering the $ 4.99 cost of Apple TV +.
