Apple reports partial service interruptions, including iCloud Drive, Photos, Mail and Notes

Several Apple cloud services are currently dealing with outages and partial outages, according to the company’s system panel. Photos, iCloud Drive, iCloud Mail, Notes, Contacts, Find My and iCloud Backups are some of the services that were hit by the problems, which the Apple website reflected from 13h13 ET (10h13 PT) with a message acknowledging that “users may not be able to use this service ”.

Problems do not appear to be universal or particularly widespread, as iCloud sync continues to function normally for several editorial staff at The Verge. My own iCloud Drive remains accessible at the moment, but I can see how frustrating it is for those dealing with downtime.

Apple Music, the App Store, the Mac App Store, Apple Books and iTunes dealt with “slow or unavailable” outages on Wednesday, but they have now been resolved. Hopefully, it won’t be long before the rest of those partial interruptions are completely eliminated. This article will be updated as soon as it happens.
