Apple has launched a new ad promoting the durability of the iPhone 12. It is not the first time that the company has emphasized this, since in its presentation on the iPhone last year, it said that this model has dropped performance four times better.

In the ad called cooker, an awkward cook tries to learn a recipe while reading the steps on his iPhone 12. The result is that he spills a lot of sauce on the iPhone, fills it with flour and often hits the smartphone with a pepper grinder.

It’s a really funny 30-second ad. The music that plays in the background is the recently released song Sauce, by the singer Naïka.

When the ad ends, the stove drops the iPhone 12 into the sink again and then cleans it under running water. “More durable than ever. Relax, it’s the iPhone ”, that’s how the commercial ends.

Apple also promoted the durability of the iPhone with vegetables and at the launch of the iPhone 12, the company said that it is “op-resistant” when a user puts hot coffee, beer, wine, water and soda on the phone in an advertisement.

The iPhone 12 is rated iP68 for water and dust resistance. With the Ceramic Shield screen, Apple claims that this model has a drop performance four times better. And while the iPhone is more resilient when it falls, it is still susceptible to scratches on the screen.
