To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Apple launched a limited edition of the AirPods Pro pair available in several Asian countries, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia. The next year is the year of the Ox and Apple has created an adorable new emoji character to celebrate. On the homepage of those countries, Apple also added a new custom logo to commemorate the occasion.
These limited edition AirPods Pro are available at the same price as any other AirPods Pro pair. For example, in mainland China they are RMB 1.999 and in Hong Kong HK 1.999. The unique emoji applied to the AirPods Pro box describes the classic cow emoji with a smaller cow emoji sticking out of its head with stars floating around it. The box for these AirPods Pro even includes the same exclusive emoji in red.
In addition to the special box and the exclusive emoji printed on the box, these AirPods Pro are functionally identical to the existing ones. However, they will certainly be very popular. After all, any limited edition Apple product usually is.
If you are in any of these countries, you can purchase a pair of limited edition AirPods Pro at an Apple store or order them at apple.com. Apple also has a limit of 2 units per order. They are being sent immediately. They are also available for pickup at the store in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, if you are looking forward to getting your hands on them.
