Apple today sent email invitations to developers inviting them to participate in various events focused on specific features of iOS, iPadOS and macOS, such as widgets and application clips.

A widget-centric event called “Building Great Widget Experiences” is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2021 and will provide developers with opportunities to learn new techniques for creating useful widgets for their applications.
We would like you to join us in creating great widget experiences on Monday, February 1st, 2021. This event will be conducted online.
Useful and enjoyable, “widgets” allow you to elevate the main content of your application and display it where users can see it at a glance on the iPhone, iPad and Mac. They can also help users personalize their home screens in unique ways. Join us for a detailed analysis of creating great widget experiences.
There will be a separate event on Monday, February 15, entitled “Bring your iPad app for Mac” and another event called “Creating great app clip experiences”, which focuses on the app clip feature introduced in iOS 14 .
Developers who have been invited to these sessions can ask questions of Apple employees, as well as the online events that Apple held last year for WWDC.
