Today’s Dealmaster is marked by a modest but notable discount on Apple’s MagSafe wireless charger, which currently stands at $ 34 on Amazon and Walmart. This represents only $ 5 off Apple’s recommended price, but it’s the lowest price we’ve seen so far on the accessory, which launched in October.
We recently recommended the MagSafe charger in our guide to the best iPhone 12 accessories. The charger is designed primarily for the iPhone 12 family, but it can provide these devices with the advertised 15W of power, so it will recharge faster than the 7.5W available with many Qi chargers (although not twice as fast). It easily connects to the desired phones and can be recharged using some MagSafe compatible cases. You will need a 20 W or higher USB-C PD 3.0 wall charger available to provide full power and, if you don’t mind the convenience of simply placing your iPhone on a pad to recharge, using a traditional USB-C The cable -for-Lightning will still complete your device much more quickly. Here, you go from 0 to 30 percent charge in about half an hour and 0 to 50 percent charge in about an hour.
So while the MagSafe Charger doesn’t have much value in a vacuum, this deal lowers the cost somewhat for iPhone 12 owners who live in the Apple ecosystem and are willing to pay for the fastest wireless charge possible.
