Some creative Apex Legends fans have managed to put a perfect replica of Wingman into their virtual reality project, showing what a VR version of Apex Legends would look like.
Since it was released, Apex Legends has a fan base of players who have shown their creative skills in many different ways.
We saw ridiculous cosplays of virtually every character on the Battle Royale list, some impressive fan art and even full animated trailers, all made by fans.
However, when it seems that players have reached their creative peak, some have done something completely different – taking a piece of Apex Legends into the world of virtual reality.

The diverse world of Apex has inspired many fan creations.
Reddit User RoadtoVR_Ben exhibited their impressive new project, where their team took a perfect replica of Wingman and placed it in a virtual reality project.
Now, if you are expecting a real VR battle, unfortunately we have not yet reached that level. Instead, this viral clip has a powerful Apex pistol instead of a firing range.
Wingman looks absolutely correct, the photos look great and the reload animation is also nice to see. Also, being VR, you can shoot Wingman sideways as if trying to bend bullets – just like some players would like to see in the Apex.

Even though it is just a personal project, and it is not going to be released as a demo or something, it still won a lot of praise from players and even some Repsawn developers. “This is incredible,” said Jason McCord, Design Director at Respawn.
Some players asked to see what the other weapons would look like, mainly from Mozambique, but the poster noted, they hoped this would inspire VR developers to create some fun weapons in their own games.
Who knows what this quick project will inspire, but it shows that even a lighter version of the Apex would not be out of place in VR.
