Apex Legends Switch Controller appears on Amazon amid confusion over game launch

In October, we announced that Apex Legends, the super popular battle royale game, delayed the release of Switch. A few weeks ago, there was an accidental “reveal” of the release date – and that date is today, February 2nd.

There were other hints that the game is also almost ready: an Apex Switch poster appeared in Japan, Apex Legends director Chad Grenier said there would be game news todayand, more recently, a new PowerA controller appeared on Amazon under the Apex Legends brand.

Apex’s 8th season was released today, so it would make sense for the game to be released on the Switch simultaneously, but there has been no news yet. Not even a provocation! Sure, the day isn’t over yet (and we’ll probably be forced to eat our hats when we have to write a post “Apex is out now!” In ten minutes), but we can’t be the only ones wondering what’s going on at Respawn.

Will you take Apex when it is finally announced? Were you waiting for the release of Switch or played on other platforms too? Let us know in the comments.
