Apex Legends provides update on long-awaited feature

THE Apex Legends the developer provided an update on a long-awaited feature with both good and bad news. There are many resources Apex Legends players on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S wish to see added to the game, including leaderboards. In the past, game developers have suggested that the feature could be added in the future, but so far these tips have not been realized.

That said, this week Chin Xiang Chong, the game’s chief designer, provided an update on the feature. The good news is that the team has not forgotten the leaderboards, which remain on the list of things they would like to do. The bad news doesn’t seem to be near the top of the list.

“Yes, it is on a list of things we would like to do,” said Chong. “Unfortunately, the list is very long and time and resources are limited, so ultimately it is a matter of priorities and, unfortunately, compared to, say, the cross game, that was a lower priority.”

Unfortunately, that’s all Chong has to say about the feature. In other words, although it looks like it is coming, there is no word on when it will come. At this point, however, it is safe to assume that it will not decrease during season 8.

Apex Legends is available, free of charge, via Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5 and all three current and next generation Xbox consoles. For more coverage on the popular free Battle Royale game and all things related to games, click here or check out the relevant links below:
