Fuse is the newest Legend who is coming to the Apex Games and is bringing a lot of grenades with him. Fuse is an explosives expert and each of his skills fits that theme.
Fuse’s passive allows him to load an extra grenade into each inventory slot and shoot farther and faster. His tactical ability launches a series of cluster mines that fragment into several smaller bombs, hitting all enemies in a large area. Fuse’s Ultimate ability is called the Motherlode and unleashes a bombardment that surrounds its target in a wall of flame.
Once all of Fuse’s skills explode, he must be the perfect character for players who want to trap their enemies in a small area or just drop explosives at them. Fuse must also be a great character for new Apex Legends players this season because it’s about putting explosions and grenades right where the enemy is.
Overall, the Fuse kit looks like it should fit perfectly with the rest of the Apex Legends list. In fact, it has more than a few resemblances to characters like Bangalore, which also has a grenade launcher and missile attack. Fuse seems to be more focused on denial and control of the area, while Bangalore’s skills focus more on damaging the enemy’s vision and slowing it down.
Meanwhile, Fuse’s unique changes to the grenades – which give him greater range and speed – could mean that some squadrons will power all the explosives in his Fuse, turning him into a one-man mortar crew as they advance.
The fuse will arrive in Apex Legends with the launch of the 8th season, scheduled for February 2nd.
