Apex Legends analyzes the skills of the newest hero Fuse before season 8 of next week • Eurogamer.net

Grenadier! Knuckle Cluster! Lode!

Apex Legends’ eighth season, Mayhem, is now just days away from its release on Tuesday, February 2, and developer Respawn is continuing to feverishly increase the anticipation hype, this time delivering a full version of the skills employed by the new hero Fuse.

Walter “Fuse” Fitzroy, a former mercenary and a “true explosives connoisseur”, is the 16th hero to join the growing Apex Legends lineup and, following his initial presentation earlier this month, has now received the full disclosure treatment in a new video.

Fuse, which can rain destruction from an “exceptional range”, comes equipped with Grenader’s passive ability. This allows him to stack one more grenade per inventory slot than any other hero and shoot them “dad, faster and more accurately” using his mechanical arm.

Its Knuckle Cluster, in turn, is a tactical bomb that expels concussion mines, and its Ultimate is the powerful Motherlode – which fires a massive mortar into the sky and surrounds Fuse’s opponents with a ring of fire once detonated.

Along with Fuse, Season 8 features a new lever-action rifle known as The 30-30 Repeater, a new Battle Pass and a new ranked season, as well as some major changes to the Kings Canyon map. It will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC next Tuesday, February 2nd, and it is rumored that the long-awaited release of the Apex Legends Switch will arrive on the same day.
