Y-Spartaquatics’s Annika McEnroe won three individual events to highlight Day 3 of the South Carolina State Senior Championship.

The encounter started with the 100 girls back, in which McEnroe, a commitment from Cal, won for almost 2 seconds in a personal best time of 54.10. She then returned two events later to dominate the 20th chest, leading the field for more than 5 seconds. His 2: 12.32 victory time was a personal record of 0.11. McEnroe’s third win came in the 100 miles, which she won in 53.46.

This means that McEnroe not only won 3 races in the same session, but won 3 races in 3 different strokes in the same session.

Also winning a victory on the female side was McEnroe’s younger sister, Kirsti, who won the 500 free miles in 4: 55.39. That time is just a second of your life, better than 4: 54.36.

On the boys’ side, Palmetto Aquatics Tanner Edwards obtained two victories of his own, touching first 100 backs and 100 on the fly. In the 100 backstroke, he was the only swimmer on the field to finish below 50, winning with a time of 49.96. In the 100 seconds, his 50.74 time ended ahead of the South Carolina Swimming Club James Winterfield, winner of the 200 free on Day 2, which came in second at 50.90.
