Animations found in RDR2 files

Although it has not yet been officially announced, it is extremely likely that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been in development for some time.

And there may be evidence of this found in another Rockstar game.

GTA 6 animations found in RDR2

Rollschuh2282, a member of the GTA Forums, discovered parachuting animations in the game files for Red Dead Redemption 2, although the game does not have parachuting mechanics.

In a topic of speculation in GTA 6, the user revealed some animations found in RDR2.

“well … I thought of posting the code snippet I found from probably GTA 6 in RDR2.exe

there is a mention of a skydiving file that doesn’t exist in V or gta5.exe, so it’s not a remainder and most likely a GTA 6 skydiving file. “

The animations in question are,

  • skydive @ parachute @ pack
  • Chute_Off

Rollschuh2282 kept saying,

“interestingly that the” pack “animation file does not exist in V.
and it’s not even listed in GTA5.exe

all of these are Vs. parachute animations.
as you can see the nomenclature fits, but the “package” does not exist “

LEAK?: Skydiving animations were found in the RDR2 files.

Skydiving is a mechanic that has been in GTA games for many years, but not in Red Dead Redemption 2.

This could mean that these are GTA files or it is an unused mechanism in RDR2.

There is really no way to check which game they are intended for, so for now, it remains just another mystery as we await the official announcement of GTA 6.

The GTA 6 rumor has been spinning much faster in recent weeks, with many rumors and “leaks” being revealed.

Are we getting close to an official Rockstar ad?
